Pepas is Belgium's first fully vegan frituur.

A snack bar as we all know them, with delicious fries, bitterballen, bicky burgers, chicken nuggets, and much more. But 100% plant-based. Our vegan snack bar is located in the city center of Leuven, Naamsestraat 36.

Our goal?

This shows you that Belgian traditions are also possible without animal products. Enjoy our fries, our vegan snacks and the atmosphere at our restaurant. 

We want to reach a wider audience with this concept. Many people think that vegan food can’t be as delicious as non-vegan food. Well, let us tell you that you’re totally wrong on this one. Come inside, have a seat and order your traditional snack bar food. If you don’t like it after all, fine by us. What does a vegan snack bar look like?

Pepas? What is it?

PEPAS, literally: addicted to fries. Pepas comes from the Spanish dish papas bravas, better known as patatas bravas. In addition, with this name, we also refer to Farruko's song ‘Pepas’. In the song,you'll notice that 'Pepas' is also slang for drugs. So yes, addicted to fries.
